T6 Legend. 15 Nov 2020. #1. So I've just attempted to update my Kenwood DNX9190 firmware. I have done this successfully previously when I first installed the unit. This time the update starts as expected but then tells me the USB connection has been lost and to re-insert the USB. I pull the USB out and re-insert.
Ok so I have a kenwood dmx4707s and I was doing the software update and it said it would take about 2 minutes and the screen would go blank and come back on well it didn't come back on after 10mim so I restarted the car (which is says not to interrupt while updating software) and then when I turned it back on nothing is happening the unit comes on but the screen is just black.
It is not possible to fix it. The only one can do it is APPLE. I have te same problem with a Kenwood DNX 7200, on the same KCA-BT200 unit. It helps a little bit if you make a call from the unit, not from the iPhone, but is still very bad. I will return also my iPhone, because is the worst cell phone ever had. It is only a good looking gadget.

So I took it back to wear I got it installed which was American radio in Knoxville,TN they tried three time to fix it with no luck .
